Hi! There are so many AI tools out there, and the possibilities to use them are endless. The question most people have is how to utilize all of these powerful tools to either advance in their careers, better their skills or find money-making opportunities. I have seen lots of influencers and ads claiming to make like $10k-$20 doing <insert nothing of value> per month with AI, and most of the time, they want to sell you courses and provide no valuable information. Today, I’m hoping to inspire people on how to actually make money with AI, minus the BS 💩 by sharing some successful stories on how people use AI to make money.

AI Art - Radstream

• Overview: Radstream is an AI artist who has been on Instagram since April 2023, but he has amassed more than 500k followers. The posts by Radstream are mainly about everyday life and landscapes in an anime style. Each of their current posts can receive tens, hundreds, and even millions of likes. I previously saw links to sell art, but now they primarily earn money through Instagram's Subscriptions for creators and receive advertisements from major brands (BMW).

• Potential money: As I cannot just go and ask him for his income stream, I have made an estimate based on what is publicly available. Please do your own research if needed.

  

  Estimate of Earnings For Instagram Influencers.

  Since Radstream has more than 500k followers and a partnership with BMW, we can estimate that he might get paid around the top end of $10,000 per ad.

• What you can do: Find a niche and recreate something similar by posting images in that niche. For example, video games, gothic art, house decor, etc. Once you succeed, then maybe you can share with me how much money you can earn and inspire more people.

• Why we love it ❤️ : Easy entry because there are tons of free AI image generators out there.

• Why this idea might not be for you 👎️ : Unfortunately, AI art can receive harsh criticism, especially from artists, because they are considered to be intellectual thieves from real artists. This issue is something you might need to evaluate whether you can look past it and make a profit. This space is also getting more saturated every day, so your success might be harder to achieve today compared to Radstream from 2023.

kingenglishkids TikTok

• Overview: An English language teaching channel for children. Despite joining TikTok in only 05/2023, the channel has reached 5M followers and has videos with hundreds of millions of views. Their Instagram account also has 1.1M followers. They also use their account as a lead magnet for their English-learning app.

  

  TikTok Earning Estimate.

• Potential money: Since the account has more than 5M followers, it’s safe to assume they make around $750 - $1000 or more per post. They also have advertisement deals, which can bring the earnings to $5k-$10k for each ad post.

• What you can do: Since we have verified that there’s huge interest in this space, you can attempt to create an exact copycat of the page and see how many followers you can gain. Additionally, you can try to find a different niche or different languages, such as a Spanish learning page, to get started.

• Why we love it ❤️ : This is also not difficult to replicate. If you’re interested in the process. Check out my other article on another example and how to do this.

• Why this idea might not be for you 👎️ : There are definitely costs to enter this market, including a subscription to ElevenLabs and D-ID. There are also many competitors in this space already, but you shouldn’t let this deter you from trying out if this is something of interest to you.

AI Influencers on the rise!

I've been following this trend since August 2023 and noticed that with the current pace of AI development, brands will start to hire AI Influencers/KOLs due to many benefits. These include costs reduced by two-thirds, consistent personality, pleasing fans, diverse styles, flexible interaction, and availability 24/7. This is such a fascinating case that I’m writing a separate article to dive deep into it. For now, let’s read an overview.

• Overview: AI Influencers are virtual influencers created by AI.

• Potential money: There’s real money for popular virtual influencers. Lil Miquela, a character created by AI with 2.6 million followers, is closing deals with brands like Burberry, Prada, or Givenchy for transactions, which I can guess are worth hundreds of thousands of dollars. 🤑 

  Likewise, an advertising post on Instagram by Aitina with more than 200,000 followers is priced at around $800. Like real influencers, Aitana has a large fan base that wants to follow her daily photos. It’s mentioned somewhere that Aitana’s estimated earnings are about $11k/month.

• What you can do: Since this is a new field with huge interests, just get started if this is intriguing for you. Start with creating a model, maybe with different races and physiques, and gain an audience.

• Why we love it ❤️ : This space is still emerging, so if you’re worried about saturation and competition, this is not a concern. There’s room for growth, and I’m confident you can achieve the same success. Well, at least if you start in 2024 and not later, it’s not too late.

• Why this idea might not be for you 👎️ : There are definitely costs to enter this market, including multiple subscriptions to get the perfect and consistent AI image. I think there are also skills required to make good and engaging captions.
